Anyways after I made that last post I couldnt access Xanga in Shanghai. I finally figured out I could use a website called www.tunnelproxy.com it seems to be proxy site that actually works.
Sorry for the long absence....I have no good excuse other than it took me 3 hours to collect 50 mosquito's in an endangered wildlife cafeteria.

I am in China..yes..Shanghai that City where I am living often - just back from a trip to see my lovely girlfriend Suzanne and her Parents. I attended 2 of her family birthday parties and went on a family downhill tubing trip - we had a super duper time at Afton..not 2 cold and they had a "slope escalator" that enabled us to maximize our sledding...I even got air a few times. I also ran into my cousin Dan Weaver and his girlfriend Ashley who took us out to a great rest. in South Minneapolis that was it called "the city diner" I could be wrong but they had good pumpkin risotto.
I hit a dear in my rental car in Kansas..the back end of this trip included a sales meeting at our HQ in Osborne Kansas..If It wouldn't have snowed 3 feet in Minnesota I would have been driving back from Kansas in a different direction and avoided the pack of deer that couldn't hurdle my car...insurance covered it and everything easy.. so no particular downside to that experience..ALSO the deer ran off so I didnt even have to live with a horrible visual and I have decided that it is still living peacefully with only a minor ..bruise. Actually I hear that a deer can take a hit like that and possibly be fine..so ..phew
Well I have a bit of jet lag now and a pile of work to finish so i hope my posting isnt laced with tinges of despair. I will post a more upbeat, pastel post tomorrow!
This is why I do not travel during the holiday :(..these were shot during Labor day holiday last week at popular tourist spots in China...man i wouldnt be caught dead swimming in that pool...yuck
